As the CPR3 Program Director, Hilary Spindler provides programmatic direction and leadership to the UCSF CPR3 team.
Hilary has 20 years of public health experience developing and managing complex local and global HIV, maternal health and COVID-19 programs. She has expertise in advancing strategic work plans, and budgets, communicating with funders and partners, as well as in staffing, hiring and managing deliverables.
Working in close collaboration with the California Department of Public Health, a small group of colleagues launched the innovative UC CDPH COVID-19 Modeling Consortium which Hilary also manages. The Modeling Consortium is designed to ensure public health policy makers have timely, relevant analysis and insights to support pandemic-related decision making with support from a network of modelers across the UC system.
Hilary is motivated by the incredible people working in local public health departments across the state of California and their dedicated work to improve the lives of all Californians, and is passionate about strengthening the relationship with academic partnerships.
