Health Economist

In her role at CPR3, Ada Kwan supports the University of California – California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Modeling Consortium and provides technical expertise on health economics, impact evaluation, and measurement to the CDPH’s Decision Intelligence Unit to help inform real-world public health decision-making.
 
As a health economist and Postdoctoral Scholar in the UCSF Department of Medicine, Ada conducts research that evaluates programs and policies in US and global settings. From a health systems perspective, she focuses on the quantitative measurement of quality, equity, and efficiency of service delivery and understanding mechanisms that drive impact. She has over 15 years of experience conducting at-scale and multi-site evaluations using randomization, quasi-experimental designs, and complex surveys methods, with an emphasis on generating evidence relevant to public health practice and policy.
